OVERGROWN
The armchair Overgrown is made from a rigid frame through which a coral like element grows.
The upholstery is made from eel grass, hemp, wool and the textile Revive from Kvadrat. The upholstery is an investigation of alternatives to foam with the intention to obtain an organic and voluminous expression. The compartment technique ensures that the fibres of the material do not break or collapse but instead keep the shape and cushioning intact.
Materials: brown core ash, eelgrass, hemp and wool
