Clam is designed to provide light on the dining table. A diffused light offering a soft and intimate ambience, where you would never be blinded by the light source.

The pendant holds its inspiration from seashells, and their soft and translucent material. The two mouth blown opal glass shades, reveal a hidden pearl within – the light. Both shells are a cut out section of two much larger mouth blown globes. The shells meet on a horizontal line, giving a calmness to the lamp, like settled waters. Together the two shells form a perfect balance. The top shell being larger than the bottom, underlines the hierarchy of the lamp. Emitting soft, ambient light from its light source within, the opal glass pendant is detailed with brass fittings for an elegant expression.

The height of the lowest shell can be adjusted to widen or minimise the gap between the two lampshades. When the lamp is completely closed, it shines a generally soft glow into the room while a stronger light can be achieved by opening the shells. The pendant is designed so that its light doesn’t blind when you open it, making it the ideal fit for dining room lighting.
